Fischbachgallery.com | Files on artists containing correspondence, photos, and printed material on group shows and one hundred Fischbach Gallery artists; and correspondence with museums, galleries, and other artists. The restricted portion, financial records, consists of bills, receipts, invoices, and bank statements.

Of special note are photographs of Alex Katz’s paintings of his friends in the art world, Richard Bellamy, Edwin Denby, Al Held, Elaine de Kooning, and Neil Welliver; and also reproductions of Robert Rauschenberg with his paintings from the 1950s.
Donated 1978 by A. Alada Marberger, former director of Fischbach Gallery. In 2001, ca. 3 feet of additional records, primarily photographs, were donated by Carnegie Mellon University, through Maureen Dawley. Materials were received by the Hunt Library, Arts and Special Collections department sometime before 1987. Hunt Library had put the boxes in storage; nothing is known about the circumstances or the actual date of donation.
